Sustainable Sartorial

This blog takes a realistic look at living a sustainable lifestyle, focusing on sustainable and ethical fashion. Sustainable Sartorial’s goal is to give readers the facts to help them make conscious choices and live a mindful life.

The fashion industry is one of the most polluting industries in the world. While the industry has issues, consumers are part of the problem, wearing items once and in the US throwing out about 11 million tonnes of fashion trash a year. Which is how Sustainable Sartorial started, as a blog to educate consumers on other options.

Elsa

I comes from a background in fast fashion and sustainability giving her a unique perspective into the fashion industry. With experience in fashion in the US, China, and Australia she has an understanding of how to succeed in major markets. While working in fashion I have worked in publications like Elle Australia, managed runways for NYFW, Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia and Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival, and continue to volunteer for Good On You App to evaluate sustainable and ethical brands.

I find that most brands make the simple mistake of not communicating their story correctly.

I’m a longtime lover of simple colors and lines, my style is minimalist and tailored. Growing up between the U.S.A., England, Australia and Germany. My style is influenced by traveling around the world, a mix of American sportswear and European chic.
