The sharing economy has risen to some astounding apps and startups, like Airbnb, Uber and Tinder. Undress is using the idea that millennials are opening their lives more than previous generations and taking it one step further to appeal to social conscious millennials.
Rent the runway and similar ideas have seen a great success with a similar idea but specializing in event dresses. How many times have I had an amazing dress that I have worn for an event, leather jacket or a funky top, and have not worn it since at least now I have a chance to earn a little cash and give my clothes a second chance. Focusing on my own social circles I have floated the idea around and have seen some awesome positive responses with 20-30 year olds.
We are a generation that is focused on helping the environment, matured through a recession and depend on our tech, this could be the new way we shop.
